Free Admission at Acadia National Park for National Park Week

April 22 - April 23

Though there are ten fee-free days throughout the year, April is the jackpot for free admission to the park, with two full weekends (April 15-16 and April 22-23) open for your hiking, biking and walking fun. The Park Loop Road reopens at this time, and it’s also a great chance to beat the summer crowds.

Plant Trees at the Maine Heritage Orchard

The Maine Heritage Orchard is a ten-acre preservation orchard on the MOFGA grounds in Unity. It is currently home to 280 apple and pear varieties traditionally grown in Maine. On Earth Day, April 22, we will plant 30 more varieties. Join us in the planting.
